davidKarin Corfee's areas of expertise include energy efficiency, demand-side management (DSM), load management, demand response, renewable energy and greenhouse gas policy initiatives. Ms. Corfee has widespread experience in energy efficiency program design, implementation, evaluation and qualitative and quantitative market research. Direct project experience also includes forecasting, integrated resource planning (IRP) and cost-effectiveness modeling. While Director of West Coast DSM Implementation Services, Ms. Corfee was actively involved in overseeing KEMA's widespread DSM implementation activities in California, Nevada and Arizona. In addition, Ms. Corfee designed and successfully implemented several third party and local government energy efficiency programs in California. Ms. Corfee currently oversees the Renewable Energy Technical Support contract for the California Energy Commission (CEC) and is involved in several projects to support the New Solar Homes Partnership. In 2006, she oversaw the development of the California Solar Initiative (CSI) Program Handbook on behalf of the three Program Administrators in California. Additionally, Ms. Corfee has been actively involved in the CSI stakeholder process and the Solar Forums. Ms. Corfee also served as the industry expert on the BEST Homes Committee for the City of Roseville, a local initiative designed to promote the widespread development of zero net-energy homes.
