On February 8th, California’s IOUs jointly posted the Preliminary Energy Efficiency Strategic Plan (PEESP). This preliminary plan has been developed taking into account stakeholder ideas from some thirty workshops convened during November and December, 2007.
On February 15, 2008, an Assigned Commissioner's and Administrative Law Judge's Ruling Requiring Supplement of Preliminary Energy Efficiency Strategic Plan (“Ruling”) was issued. PG&E, SCE, SDG&E and SCG hereby solicit written stakeholder comments on the revised draft Strategic Plan that now includes the required supplemental information. Given, the later submittal date of the supplement, the joint utilities have agreed to extend the March 17, 2008, date to March 24, 2008 for parties to provide their comments. Stakeholders, however, are strongly encouraged to submit their comments as early as possible for utility consideration in the preparation of their 2009-2011 applications. The utilities will file a final strategic plan with the CPUC no later than June 2, 2008.
